This self-portrait explores my own experiences of sexual assault and harassment. While these experiences are deeply personal, they are not isolated. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (2023), 1 in 5 women have experienced sexual violence since the age of 15.

The title Me Too speaks to both the personal and collective nature of these experiences, referencing the global campaign aimed at spreading awareness against sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. This piece is an acknowledgement that behind the statistics are individual women, each carrying their own stories that deserve to be heard.
